This workshop TIG welder is a true showcase of German engineering. Lorch has developed a 300 Amp welding power source with an in-built cold wire feeding system. The user can either use a standard TIG torch or the automatic cold wire feed torch. The TF-Pro 300 auto wire feeding TIG simply takes a standard spool of MIG wire and has a similar feed system to the MIG. Up to 99 user-programmed settings can be stored in the machine and recalled with a press of a button on the TIG torch.

The auto cold wire feeder can be programmed easily and in many different ways:
- Program it to feed continuously or only feed wire in on the high pulse
- Change wire feed speed on both high pulse and low pulse
- Set a pre-welding delay for wire feed
- Manually adjust wire feed from the TIG torch
- Etc!

This setup is possibly the best TIG welder for Aluminium welding as the auto wire feeder can feed wire in so consistently and quickly. Aluminium TIG welding can be difficult as the user has to feed wire in so quickly on a standard machine, whereas lesser skilled users can now perform superior quality welds thanks to the feed system!
